## Step 1: Request a quote

Complete the online [quote request](https://www.dspinspections.com.au/request-a-quote) or call Dale directly on 0423 235 191. Accept the emailed quote to proceed. We service all of Melbourne and Geelong.

## Step 2: Confirm inspection

Once the quote is accepted, we contact the real estate agent to arrange an inspection time as soon as possible. Clients are welcome to attend but it is not necessary – your inspector will call you to discuss the findings. Many purchasers prefer to remain anonymous. [Book an inspection](https://www.dspinspections.com.au/book-now).

## Step 3: Inspection / investigation

Your inspector conducts a thorough inspection of all accessible areas of the site in accordance with the Australian Standards, drawing on over 15 years of hands-on experience restoring and renovating homes.

## Step 4: Instant feedback

At the end of the inspection your inspector calls you to summarise the findings and highlight any issues or concerns.

## Step 5: Compile report

The written report is compiled and emailed, usually the same day depending on inspection time. It identifies major and minor defects, potential safety hazards and timber pest findings (if requested), supported by detailed photographs and recommendations for each item.

## Step 6: Advice

After you've read the report, we are available to discuss and clarify the findings and offer advice on how best to address any concerns.
