## Pre-Purchase Building and Pest Inspections

Our most recommended, in-depth and most popular service. It gives you a complete overview of the property's condition, inspecting the entire property and house for hundreds of potential defects and issues.

We carry out a full pest inspection in accordance with Australian Standard AS 4349, looking for existing and past activity or damage from termites, timber borers and fungi (timber rot) that can lead to expensive repairs.

## New Build Pre-Handover Inspection

When your new home is nearly complete, the builder will arrange a pre-handover inspection. This is the stage to engage a professional building inspector. A handover report protects you from substandard workmanship and highlights, in detail, any defects or imperfections that the builder must rectify before settlement.

We often conduct two inspections on a new build to make sure the initial issues have been rectified to a satisfactory level; new defects are commonly added at the second inspection. Having a professional inspection does NOT waive the defect maintenance period of your building contract.

## Pre-Sale Inspections

Thinking of selling? A pre-sale inspection identifies issues that may affect your final sale price. Finding and rectifying issues before your sale campaign gives buyers confidence and reduces doubt when bidding or making an offer.
